Recover
A recover is simply replacing the top layer of fabric. The old fabric is carefully removed. Exposed wood is treated as required then any necessary stuffing; wadding or general enhancements can be added before the new fabric is fitted.
Upholstery
I can upholster using traditional or modern techniques depending on what is required for each individual item. Changing springs, re-webbing, re-seating etc. Using natural fibres where possible and re using materials if appropriate to reduce costs to clients, as well as environmental impact.
Rebuild
A rebuild is a complete overhaul of the furniture. Stripping it right back to the bare bones. Repairing and treating the frame before rebuilding and creating the desired shape of the upholstery. Finally covering in your chosen fabric.
Headboards and ottomans
I create bespoke headboards and ottomans. Made to order, any size, style and shape. I can also cover and rejuvenate existing pieces.
Design
I am happy to visit you in your home to provide a free estimate. I can also give advice and inspiration on what adaptions could be made to your furniture through fabric selection and design.
